The Nashua Parent Outreach Group (NPOG) and the Nashua School District are collaborating to present a Sensory Processing Workshop. This workshop is designed to highlight some of the factors that influence everyday performance around the topic of changing seasons. Focus will be on spring; however concepts will be discussed that relate to fall as well.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES: Participants will review the sensory processing areas and how they influence daily performance
· Identify at least 3 strategies per sensory processing area to improve behavior and performance
· Take home at least one adaptable pre-made social story to assist with preparing for the changing seasons
