Hello all, Through generous funding from the DHHS, Bureau of Developmental Services, Part C ARRA funds, Easter Seals The Family Place will be sponsoring a train the trainers program for parents and providers who live and work with individuals on the Autism Spectrum. This program will be 6 weeks and hosted in Concord at Casey Family Services. Our hope is that a parent representative from each area agency region will be able to attend. We will keep the attendance small so as to ensure the ability to generate rich discussion. In addition, we will be inviting parents from all over the state to attend through a wide variety of parent networks. I will be sending out a flier in the next week or so. The program will be held on Wednesday nights beginning October 20th and running through Dec 1. There will be no session the evening before Thanksgiving. The time will be from 5:30 to 8 pm and dinner will be provided.
People MUST attend all 6 sessions in order to receive a certificate of attendance. No exceptions. There will be no cost for this program. Please feel free to forward this email onto any parent you feel may be interested.
Warmest Regards,
Patti
