Now that the bill has passed requiring insurances to cover ABA, does anyone know of BCBA therapists that will be accepting insurances, or at least looking into it?
Autism Bridges in bedford are looking into it, but they told me that at this point they have to get approved by the insurance companies, and that no companies are "in network" yet, but that companies are scrambling to get in network by the january date that the bill takes affect.
I just discovered that our health insurance offers ABA coverage (80/20) through the age of 18. It's a brand new program and I spent hours on the phone this week trying to get information/rules/cost etc. Right now the only organization the insurance company (through United Health Care) has listed as a provider in NH is Autism Bridges. I've requested intake paperwork from the insurance company and will keep you updated on the progress of obtaining services for my son.
