I was wondering if anyone had the chance to read House Rules by Jodi Picoult? It is about a young adult with Asperger's Syndrome. Though fictional, I found it to be a very insightful portrayal of a a family's perspective to the diagnosis. It is written from several different perspectives, the mother's, individual whom experiences Autism, and the sibling's. It brought me to tears.

This book sounds like a good book.  I'll have to get it.  I could use a book from the typical autism books.
