Tim,

 

Have you thought about contacting any of the local colleges about students looking for work? Often times there are students in degree programs like Human Services, Social Work and Human Development that are looking for more experience with individuals with disabilities.

Yes, we're going over to NCC tomorrow afternoon to put up flyers on the advice of their special needs support advocate.  Time is running short though!  Thanks for posting.

Hi Tim, My name is Amy and my husband and I both work with children and adults with different physical and mental diagnoses. We have done respite for adults over the last 7 years. Good luck!  It's tough finding the right provider sometimes that fits in with the family.  I met a nice lady over the summer that I heard about through Gateways.  I can email you her name and number.
