My 9 year old nephew who is an Aspy is having facial ticks. He has had them in the past but they have always been infrequent. They started out as funny blinking where he would blink one eye at a time. Now he appears to have a twitch and his eyes will look side to side for a few seconds. There is no pattern and to rythym to it. Could it be a magnesium deficiency or possibly tourette's? Does anyone have any experience with facial ticks? I am also wondering if it could be a side effect of his medications?
