Just wondering what people have for thoughts on the Larry King interview with Jennie McCarthy and Jim Cary?

Emily, The Larry King interview with McCarthy and Cary shows a message of promise as it leads with the all important idea of "recovery." With early intervention, proper neuro counsel, continued service, and learned behavior, many children diagnosed with ASD can have a positive outcome and "recover." The Spacecoast Early Intervention Center in Florida is a non profit therapeutic preschool for children with and without special needs. For 20 years, this center has provided ABA like therapies for those with PDD and ASD. Now, many of these children are enrolled in high school and college and continue to "recover." The Parent-2-Child Training, offered in cooperation with Gateways and IPP, can make a huge impact for kids under the age of 5. These kids, with the help of their parents or another family member, can start their journey to "recovery" right now. The interview drives this positive message home. The message is all the more important considering the increase in ASD diagnoses just published yesterday. Look at the CDC info. http://www.cdc.gov/ncbddd/autism/index.html
