Transfer or Move?
Hi,
My son is 9 1/2 and goes to school here in Nashua. I don't think they're able to teach him effectively. My question is:
Has anyone successfully moved their child from the school system to a special needs school with the district to paying for it? What school? How long did it take?
OR has anyone had to move to another state to get their child better care/education??

Oh gosh.. I am in Nashua also, I feel your pain! I have thought about moving a million and a half time and then thought that the same problems could arise somewhere else.
This school system is rough to say the least and the Sped department is ... well.. not great (to put it nicely). I can probably lead you to who you want to stay in touch with or stay away from for the most part in the district. My son is in high school now.
