Hello all, Through generous funding from the DHHS, Bureau of Developmental Services, Part C ARRA funds, Easter Seals The Family Place will be sponsoring a train the trainers program for parents and providers who live and work with individuals on the Autism Spectrum. This program will be 6 weeks and hosted in Concord at Casey Family Services. Our hope is that a parent representative from each area agency region will be able to attend. Hi, I don't have any first hand experience with social skills groups. I wish they existed for kids on the spectrum who are non - verbal (elementary through highschool and beyond). I haven't heard of one yet that includes this population.
